You Now Have More Options…

When a person is going through a divorce, custody action or relocation issue, they not only have to deal with the emotional and mental stress associated with the matter, but also the financial stress. Being a litigant in a family law case can be extremely expensive. Often times, if the client pays an hourly rate for an attorney’s services, the uncertainty of how much the whole matter may cost can be overwhelming.

Now Offering Flat Fee and Hourly Options…

We understand this and we hear you! In an effort to alleviate some of this stress, Stanley-Wallace Law is now offering alternative billing structures for family law cases. While we still offer our standard hourly invoicing with an advanced deposit, we have added some flat fee plus cost options to take away some of the uncertainty regarding the billing process. Under the flat fee plus cost contracts, a client pays a flat fee for attorney’s fees up to a particular point in the litigation, plus any costs associated with the case (such as filing fees). This differs from the standard hourly invoicing where a client is billed for the time the attorney’s and paralegals spend on his or her case, plus costs.
